Vietnam Announced as Host for 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World

A Grand Reveal in Hanoi
VIETNAM – The Miss World Organization has officially confirmed that Vietnam will serve as the host nation for the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. The landmark announcement was made during the Miss World Vietnam finale on March 29 by Julia Morley CBE, CEO and Chairperson of Miss World, alongside representatives from Sen Vàng, the event's local organizers and co-producers.
This edition carries special significance as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of the Miss World pageant and its renowned "Beauty With a Purpose" global humanitarian program.
From the North to the South: The Competition Schedule
The month-long festival of beauty and culture is set to begin on August 9 in Hanoi. Contestants from around the globe will traverse the country’s most iconic landscapes before the grand finale takes place on September 5 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The reigning Miss World, Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand, will be present to crown her successor at the conclusion of the event, passing on one of the most coveted titles in international pageantry.
