ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay – The search for Paraguay’s next representative has concluded with the official appointment of Gretha Matiauda as Miss Universe Paraguay 2026. The 24-year-old Asunción native, who is a trained economist, international model, and entrepreneur, takes over the mantle from her predecessor, Yanina Gómez, who notably secured a Top 30 placement at Miss Universe 2025.
